Silence The Weapon

Silence is the best weapon, when caught in between when in a dilemma, when at a crossroad keep mum until you have something appropriate to say or even never speak up ,silence is the best weapon. Saves agony to thyself Leaves confused Astonished The confronter Didn't serve them what they ordered Pure disappointment, silence is the best weapon words can never be taken back Hold them back. They won't back you up When things go astray, Watch your words Think, Be mindful , Rethink, Be thoughtful Decide, Then act .

Don't post pone, you are not late yet.

Mr. Kipchumba had a job interview to attend at 10 am but his wife developed health complications at 9am. He decided to take the wife to the hospital then leave for the interview but on their way to the hospital, the taxi broke down. It was already 10:30 am. He sourced for another taxi. He arrived at the hospital at 11am, dropped the wife and used the same taxi to go for the interview. He arrived at the interview venue at 12 noon (2hours late). He rang the bell but no one opened the door. Earlier, at 10am, the company mail delivery had rang the bell but no one opened the door too. When the door was finally opened; Mr. Kipchumba  said: "I am sorry, I came .........." wanting to apologise for coming late but the Secretary interjected before he could finish his statement and ushered him to the Board room. The Secretary said," I apologise Mr. Kipchumba for keeping you waiting since 10 am, we actually heard when the bell rang at 10 am but we were held up in a meeti...

You need it Tommorow

Never break the pot that once gave you water. Never bite the hands that once fed you. Never despise the home that once gave you shelter. Never punch holes in the umbrella that once gave you cover. Never insult the breasts that once gave you pleasure. And never malign the church that once gave you fire. If, for now, you have outgrown their usefulness, leave them intact, and go quietly and honorably. For it may be the time and season of breakthrough for others also. Becareful how you close a door. Never ever bang it, you may need to walk through that same door tomorrow.

Just Begin

Just after I received my fee structure from My University for my PhD, totalling Kshs. 850,000 in 2019, I met my Dad, at Cooperative bank in Nairobi CBD. I explained to him that I had the admission letter and he smiled. I told him however, "Baba, there is a problem. They need Kshs. 850,000." He held my hands, then slowly but reassuringly, said, "Just Begin, my daughter." To ensure his point went home, he got into his account and gave me Kshs. 14,000 in an account that had Kshs. 20,000. I was touched. I added Kshs. 16000 and paid Kshs.30,000 into the account, and my journey to PhD began. Today, having reached the dream, I remember the words of my father. Just Begin.... In everything you do, always remember, JUST BEGIN. Just begin, no matter how difficult it seems to be. It appeared to be difficult, but as time lapsed, I realised dad was right. At some point before my defence, I gave up. I still had a solid Kshs.300,000 to pay and they wouldn't give ...

Peace of mind

Once Buddha was walking from one town to another town with a few of his followers. This was in the initial days. While they were travelling, they happened to pass a lake. They stopped there and Buddha told one of his disciples, ?I am thirsty. Do get me some water from that lake there.? The disciple walked up to the lake. When he reached it, he noticed that some people were washing clothes in the water and, right at that moment, a bullock cart started crossing through the lake. As a result, the water became very muddy, very turbid. The disciple thought, ?How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink!? So he came back and told Buddha, ?The water in there is very muddy. I don?t think it is fit to drink.? After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink. The disciple obediently went back to the lake. This time he found that the lake had absolutely clear water in it. The mud had settled down and the water above it lo...

Tables can Turn.

THE SAME SUN THAT MELTS ICE HARDENS CLAY. When US President Donald Trump built a fence between USA and Mexico, it was meant to block Mexican from entering the US, as we speak, strange and unprecedented things have happened in this period of Corona Virus, the government of Mexico is doing everything possible to stop US citizens from entering their country. What goes around comes around, US citizens are destroying their own fence to enter Mexico due to increasing COVID-19 infections. USA has more than 450,000 cases of COVID-19 while Mexico has less than 500 cases. US citizens are running away from their homes to be refugees in Mexico, this is a lesson, even a rich person can borrow a needle from a poor person. Don't despise your fellow being because of where you are today. Tables can turn. When God blesses you financially, don't build walls, but expand your table to accommodate the poor. Position is not possession. Don't be mean because nobody knows what the future hol...
