Mr. Kipchumba had a job interview to attend at 10 am but his wife developed health complications at 9am. He decided to take the wife to the hospital then leave for the interview but on their way to the hospital, the taxi broke down. It was already 10:30 am. He sourced for another taxi. He arrived at the hospital at 11am, dropped the wife and used the same taxi to go for the interview. He arrived at the interview venue at 12 noon (2hours late). He rang the bell but no one opened the door. Earlier, at 10am, the company mail delivery had rang the bell but no one opened the door too. Never break the pot that once gave you water. Never bite the hands that once fed you. Never despise the home that once gave you shelter. Never punch holes in the umbrella that once gave you cover. Residence of Kabogor in Emining ward- Baringo County saw a spectacular swarm of desert  locust which had covered the sky descending from the slopes of Sirwa-Kapkein hills. It first touched down at Ngendui and Oinopsos almost blocking Ravine - Tenges road, before advancing to Kipsongol and chemutagar of Cheberen location and to Isanche, Kipswerer, sonochun, kamulat, kaptabarar and finally to kindonin before vanishing to kamalanget of Kabogor sub location and to other sides of lombala and Ngubereti. The locust spent only 1hr in the area but left a traceable mark on trees and grass. People followed step by step scaring them away and wondering of their eating nature of leaves and grass which left some trees leaveless within minutes.
