Historical Background of Kibagor Chebor 
Kibagor Chebor of tungo clan  is believed to have been born in the mid-1800 to Kaplelach ageset around the area near Lake Kamnarok,along the Endo River in what is today Kabutiei Location of Baringo North also see Kipkochoi) . Oral traditions passed down through generations indicate that Kibagor later separated from his extended family and began a southward migration.
His journey took him first to Kapkiai village in Timboiwo - Baringo Central. From there, he continued moving south through Tenges before eventually settling at a place called Kapchepketem/Cheptorit, near Ngendui, within the present-day Cheberen location. He established his homestead near the Perkera River, a key geographical feature in the area.
Kibagor lived the rest of his life in Kapchepketem/Cheptorit near Ngendui and later died of old age and join his ancestors . He was buried there by his children.

Genealogy of the Chebor Kibagor Family

Kibagor married Sote and with her he was blessed with several children:
✓ Arap Chebor of nyongi ageset
✓ Chepnagui Chebor also of nyongi ageset 
✓ Arap Sote - Kangogo CHEBOR  of chumo age set (also referred to as Kibuli).
✓ Two daughters- one was married to Targok clan - Kapchemorna in apyemit of kisanana ward and the other was married to Toyoi clan- in a place call kapcheluguny near emining.

Lineage of Chepnagui Chebor  of Nyongi Age Set

Chepnagui Chebor had:
One son: Arap Chepnagui of Sowe age set and two daughters.
Two daughters:
One  was married into the Kipsegecha clan- Kapmotoma in NATO, Emining.
The other one was married to Sote Kipcheret clan - Kapcheberi.
Arap Chepnagui later married Toyoi from the Toyoi clan- Kaptiemoi, and they were blessed with a son.

Lineage of Arap Sote – Kangogo Chebor alias Kibuli  of Chumo Age Set
Arap Sote married two wives:
First Wife: Teriki (Kipkony Clan)
They had one child:
Tungo, who was later married to Moi-Soo (Kapsamg)
Second Wife: Targok clan -  Kapkabarei/ Kipchemoi.
They had two sons:
✓ Cherono Kangogo of korongoro ageset
✓ Kapkiai Kangogo of korongoro ageset 
Kangogo Chebor rested and joined his ancestors at octogenarian age. He rested in 1982 and his family rested him on his farm.
His 2nd wife Targok Kangogo rested and joined her ancestors on 17 July 1999.

Cherono Kangogo Lineage 
Cherono Kangogo(Komolei) married Targok of Timboiwo. With her they had five boys and one girl. 
He joined his ancestors on 30 November 2004. His family  rested him in the land of his father.

Kapkiai Kangogo  Lineage 
Kapkiai Kangogo (Arap Targok), he married Talai of Talai - linyo clan of Kapkapengut. With her they had  three boys and four girls.
Kapkiai Kangogo joined his ancestors on 05/04/2001. He was rested in the land of his father.

Migration and Settlement of Descendants
After the death of Kibagor, his children moved from Cheptorit and crossed the Perkera River. They settled in an area that is currently known as Kabogor.
From this point, the family expanded through the descendants of Chepnagui Chebor and Arap Sote. Through marriage alliances with various clans the family established strong social and cultural ties within the wider community.

Current Settlement

Today, the descendants of Kibagor are primarily found in:
Kabogor area (after crossing Perkera River) now Kabogor location, emining location in Mogotio constituency.
Over time, family members have also spread to other parts of Kenya due to factors such as education, employment, and modern migration, although their ancestral roots remain strongly tied to Kabutiei in Kamnarok, Timboiwo, Cheptorit, Kabogor, and the greater Baringo region.
