FORGIVE AND APPRECIATE PEOPLE

The late king of my community had ten wild dogs. He used them to torture and eat any of his servants who made a mistake. One of the servants gave an opinion which was wrong, and the king didn’t like it at all. So he ordered that the servant be thrown to the dogs. The servant said, “I served you for ten years, and you do this to me? Please give me ten days before throwing me to those dogs!” The king agreed. In those ten days, the servant went to the guard who looks after the dogs and told him he would like to serve the dogs for the next ten days. The guard was baffled but agreed, and the servant started feeding the dogs, cleaning for them, bathing them, and providing all sorts of comfort for them. When the ten days were over, the king ordered that the servant be thrown to the dogs for his punishment. When he was thrown in, we were all amazed to see the ravenous dogs only licking the feet of the servant! The king, baffled at what he was seeing, said, ”What h...

Twenty Things i Learned by age Twenty

I’ve lived well past the 20 year mark in my life, but those first twenty years of my life were full of life lessons that I carry with me every single day. Sometimes I may not have understood these things in the moment because I was too young to understand what was really going on. Some of these lessons weren’t even things being shown to me at the time at all, but looking back, all these lessons come through loud and clear. 1 year old Starting well isn’t nearly as important as finishing well. My early life was a mess, and my parents were trying to figure a lot of things out, but where I came from didn’t need to determine where I was going. 2 years old Nothing can steal your destiny. As a gifted child who excelled well beyond the knowledge and wisdom of other two-year olds, I wasn’t afforded an environment that many gifted children had to thrive. You don’t have to look any further than your favorite world changer, like Steve Jobs, to see tha...

HOW TO STOP WORRYING.

  1. Remind yourself that worrying doesn’t stop things happening. Things will happen – or not happen –anyway. 2. Recognise that “What ifs” don’t usually help with problem solving. It’s better to use logic, and brain storm for solutions. Take control of your emotions by using rational thinking. 3. Motivate yourself by something other than worrying. Take a break and do something fun, and then go back to your work again. That positive approach will reap more benefits. 4. Face your fears – and do the things that you worry about. The thought is often much worse than the actual thing you fear. 5. Ask yourself “What’s the worst thing that could happen?” Then, “What are the chances that it will happen? Then “Will you survive it, if it happens, in the end?” Usually, that helps to move us from an extreme and irrational way of thinking to a more realistic, and reasonable way if thinking. 6. Teach yourse...

Your level determines your challenges

Sometimes you wonder why you experience big challenges in your life but I want you to know that they are proportional to your level. High level people do not face low level challenges . It’s the tallest trees that suffer the most wind. In a war they target the soldier who has the biggest weapon. In football they focus on marking the best player. The devil will attack you because he knows how powerful you are. Remember that whatever God allows you to go through he knows that you have the capacity to withstand it and come out stronger . Challenges are like steps of a ladder, each time you overcome them you go to the next level. I would rather face challenges as I go to a higher level than stay at a lower level without challenges. The bible: 1 Cor 10:13......And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear When challenges come.. Stay strong in faith knowing that God will see u through.
