Positive Attitude is Crucial during Crisis

In 1970 APOLLO 13 mission was deep in space and progressing according to schedule when an oxygen tank explosion cut off the electrical current to the command module. The panicked scientists stared at a real possibility of being stranded in space more than 100000KM from Earth with no hope of rescue. The question refocused the group to think in terms of what was working instead of what was broken...that question changed the group ATTITUDE from "we are doomed" to "lets pull our knowledge and come up with a plan to save our mission". The power of the question is that it challenge everyone involved in the mission to become part of the solution, instead of part of the problem! My point is,this story proves that,in times of crisis a POSITIVE ATTITUDE is absolutely crucial!By focusing on the positivep instead of negatives during setbacks.Whether the are financial or physical or emotional. We position ourselves as winners instead of losers! The APPOLO 13 ...

Why Forget this!

How do you forget? 1. The same qualifications you have, diploma, degree, masters, that which gave you that job you have are the same qualifications that your friends have too , but they don't have the job you have. How do you forget? 2. The same pastor who officiated your marriage and blessed it, today you have even children is the same pastor who officiated and blessed even your friend's marriages but they don't have children and eventually divorced . How do you forget? 3. The same prayer you offered to God and God answered you is the same prayer that your friends have been praying, but up to now they haven't received any answer and still praying , how do you forget? 4.  The same road you use to travel to places and safely you reach home, is the same road that many people have died on, how do you forget? 5. The same church you go to worship God to and God has blessed you, is the same church that your friend goes to...

They refused to be defined by past failures.

You can lose everything and you have lost something but the day you loss your self you have lost it all. Life change to better when we wake up in our minds and refuse to be held back by the past grief, pain and sorrows. It happened, it disappointed us,it humiliated, but let's move on. The day we get stuck is the day we get lost and finished. Let's learn from these great men and women who achieved their dreams despite the challenges of life they pass through, the fail but they refuse to be defined by failure. They lost, but they didn't lost hope of being a better person some day. They are the worlds great achievers. Don't lose Hope . The Haunting photograph: Lets be Humane

Image
Kevin Carter Committed Suicide 3 Months After He Won the Pulitzer Prize for a Photograph of a Vulture Stalking a Starving Girl In March 1993 ,  photographer  Kevin Carter  took a trip to  South Sudan , where he took an iconic photo of a starving little girl being preyed upon by a vulture. He said that the high pitched whimpering sound of a toddler near the Ayod village attracted him. The girl was taking a rest while struggling to get to a feeding center. He confessed that he waited 20 minutes for the vulture to fly away and when it didn’t, Carter snapped the haunting photograph and chased away the vulture. (The girl’s parents had left her to pick food from a UN plane nearby.).                                                    The haunting photograph appeared for the first time on the  New York Times paper on March 26, 1993 , wh...
